The music in the game's also fantastically implemented with each town track being comprised of multiple layers that play depending on where in the given town you are (think of Banjo Kazooie). Plus the world is REALLY nicely detailed, while it's a relatively small world it's very lovingly crafted with tons of small elements to make it feel more genuine. It doesn't seem that impressive now but it was pretty much unheard of back in 2004. The lighting engine in this game really complex casting shadows of literally everything on literally everything, keeping details such as gaps in chain-link fences intact on the shadow it casts even on top of your characters. you also have characters who control with First Person Shooter controls and more traditional third person action game scheme. The battle system is a combination of an action game with some elements accessible via a quick menu which slows down time to let you pick your items or align your special move. It really shows they wanted to show off what the XBOX could do and they did a great job in my opinion. The game's allot of fun, it's very colorful has fun characters and neat world building. A weird combination of a Western RPG with jRPG aesthetics released on the Original XBOX.
